Carbonized Charcoal

Carbonized charcoal (shell charcoal) is a fuel made by heating hard shells such as hazelnut and walnut in a controlled low-oxygen environment; it is high in carbon, leaves little soot and burns longer than wood charcoal. In the barbecue and grilling sector this feature — solving the heavy-smoke complaint — is the main reason for preference; it is also used as an industrial heat source and as a raw material in activated-carbon production. You can contact Haroğlu International for the wholesale carbonized shell charcoal price and an export quote.

  • Low Smoke, Long Burn It leaves less soot and burns longer than wood charcoal; it solves the heavy-smoke problem in barbecuing.
  • High Carbon Content Produced by controlled carbonization; its high carbon content is valuable for industrial heat and activated carbon.
  • Wholesale Supply By the tonne and sack, by the truckload or in smaller lots, for domestic delivery and export.

Areas of Use

  • Barbecue and grill charcoal Leaving little soot and smoke is the main reason for preference, solving the heavy-smoke complaint; it gives stable heat for a long time.
  • Industrial heat source Its high carbon content suits intense, continuous heat demand in industrial processes.
  • Activated-carbon raw material Its carbonized structure is used in activated-carbon production for the filtration and treatment sector.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is carbonized charcoal different from wood charcoal?

Yes. Carbonized charcoal (shell charcoal) is produced by heating hard shells such as hazelnut and walnut in a controlled low-oxygen environment. Compared with wood charcoal it has a higher carbon content, leaves less soot and burns longer.

Why is it preferred for barbecuing?

Heavy smoke and soot are the biggest complaint of barbecue users. Because carbonized shell charcoal leaves little smoke and gives stable heat for a long time, it largely solves this problem.

Is it suitable for activated-carbon production?

Yes. Its high carbon content and porous structure make it a sought-after raw material in activated-carbon production for water and air filtration and treatment systems.

How do minimum order and delivery work?

We supply by the tonne and sack, usually by the truckload and in smaller lots on request. You can request a sample and a quote for domestic delivery and export.

Carbonized Charcoal Price & Delivery
